When I was a child

Self evaluation

My oral presentation was about death rituals. I did this project with ona.
To evaluate myself, I have to say that the presentation was right, it was nice to see. On the video I can see that maybe, I have to improve my eye contact a bit more, because I was nervous and it made me forget some things I had to say. But the rest I think that was right. The only thing we have to care is the vocabulary, because there were a lot of key words, and we didn't write them anywhere. Anyway, I'm happy with the presentation because a lot of people said that I have a good pronunciation, and I think it's the most important thing when I speak english!

PD: I don't know how to download the video on internet.

13 vs Adrian Mole

First, we read the book of Adrian Mole. It's about this boy, who's thirteen years and a half and he tells us his adolescence; all the spots he has he tells us, he likes one girl but she doesn't, he has some problems with his friends...
And some days after, we watched 13, a film that the protagonist is Tracy and at the begining, he was a really good girl. She moved to another city with her mother and his brother and she started school. There she wants to be popular and she makes a friend, who's Evie, and I could see that she was a bad influency. In this film we see that Tracy has some problems with drugs, fiends , cuts herself, problems with her mother... That's the topic of this film.

I only can say that I like more the film than the book, because it's funnier and I think it's more or less some cases that are happening in this moment.
How you can see on this photo, it's Ona and me. There's someone else, Rafa Mora, I don't know if you know who he is, but nobody important, I think. We only took the photo with him because everybody was taking it, and we wanted to, I have to say it!
How you can see, he's very small, and not very handsome. I don't like him.

We went to Chic, a disco in Santa Margarita, Roses, but we don't use to go out every week-end. I think if I did this, I would bore going out to parties. I think it's better going out in some ocasions, and not every Saturday, like a lot of people do. And I think studyind is more important than have fun every week-ends, while I can have fun doing other things during the day. It's just my opinion... I don't know if you think the same as me!

La differenza tra me e te - Tiziano Ferro

Tiziano Ferro is my favorite singer. He sings like an angel, and he's very handsome and I really love the lyrics of his songs, most of them are about love.
The Italian is a language I want to learn, and I knew that it was my favorite language two years ago, in a championship in Poland that I spent a lot of time with Italian people. I realized that it was similar to Catalan and Spanish, and it was easy to understand. I started listening songs and nowadays, I love it.

This song is about love, the difference between two persons who want to be together. That's the real topic, and during all the song he says all the things that make difficult to be with this person he loves.
Here's the lyrics:

La differenza tra me e te
Non l’ho capita fino in fondo veramente bene
Me e te
Uno dei due sa farsi male, l’altro meno
Però me e te
E’ quasi una negazione.

Io mi perdo nei dettagli e nei disordini, tu no
E temo il tuo passato e il mio passato
Ma tu no.
Me e te, è così chiaro
Sembra difficile.

La mia vita
Mi fa perdere il sonno, sempre
Mi fa capire che è evidente

La differenza tra me e te
Poi mi chiedi come sto
E il tuo sorriso spegne i tormenti e le domande
A stare bene, a stare male, a torturarmi, a chiedermi perchè.

La differenza tra me e te
Tu come stai? Bene. Io come sto? Boh!
Me e te
Uno sorride di com’è, l’atro piange cosa non è
E penso sia un errore.

Io ho due tre certezze, una pinta e qualche amico
Tu hai molte domande, alcune pessime, lo dico
Me e te, elementare
Da volere andare via.

La mia vita
Mi fa perdere il sonno, sempre
Mi fa capire che è evidente
La differenza tra me e te.
Poi mi chiedi come sto
E il tuo sorriso spegne i tormenti e le domande
A stare bene, a stare male, a torturarmi, a chiedermi perchè.

E se la mia vita ogni tanto azzerasse
L’inutilità di queste insicurezze
Non te lo direi.
Ma se un bel giorno affacciandomi alla vita
Tutta la tristezza fosse già finita
Io verrei da te.

Poi mi chiedi come sto
E il tuo sorriso spegne i tormenti e le domande
A stare bene, a stare male, a torturarmi, a chiedermi perchè.

La differenza tra me e te
Tu come stai? Bene. Io come sto? Boh!
Me e te
Uno sorride di com’è, l’altro piange cosa non è
E penso sia bellissimo
E penso sia bellissimo.

Baby died from head injury

A week-boy was killed for a dog. This happened in his grandparents' house, in Telford. He died because the family's dog, a Jack Rusell, bit the little boy in this head. This dog was self-sacrificing when Harry died.

I just can't imagine how the family felt when they lost their little baby, that only was a week alive. It's the worst thing it can happens to you.
I really love animals, but I don't think it's usual that a dog bites a baby, maybe it was because he was gealous, but the parents, if they'd see that the dog was a bit gealous, they'd be a bit careful. I don't know, it's very hard to say my opinion about this topic, I think it must be terrible.

Only one feeling

Here you can see some photos, and all of them it's me on a horse. Well... I don't know if you're going to get tired of this kind of photos, but I'm sorry... it's my space and it's my biggest passion and all my life. I know you're thinking that maybe I'm crazy, but I know I'm not, because I have spent a lot of hours with my horse, a lot of work, some failures I've had with my new horse. But now, I'm working hard to get all I want, and for the moment, it's working. The other day, I went to play a match and we were really good, and that's the difficult part, "WE" were, because it's not only me, I'm with an animal, that in any moment can get crazy and do some strange things (I'll show you a photo), and if I'm nervous the animal feels it, and he gets more nervous than me. The feeling I have when I know I've been better than other times or I've improved something, is enormous, you can't imagine it.
A lot of people think I'm losing the time whit it, but do you know what? I don't mind what people say.

Here's the photo I said before, the horse is like crazy!

Difficult situation

Two months ago, I knew about my friend Gil that was very ill. He had cancer and he was really bad.
He's from Cardedeu, and I know him by the Horse-ball, the sport we both practice. I wanted to visit him at the hospital or wherever, but I didn't have time.

On 10th of November, I went to Montpellier to the Horse-ball world coup and this same night, I knew that he would come on Sunday! It meant that he was much better. I was happy.

The next day, Spain versus France played the final match, for the first and second place, and once they were at the pitch, the Spanish team wore a T-shirt that it was written on it: "Ànims Gil, et necessitem". It was moving, all the people was clapping for him, and suddenly, the French team got out the sweaters and they were wearing a T-shirt too, that I don't really know what it said, because I didn't see it.
In this moment, my eyes became sensitive, because I remembered all I suffered for him.

I think that this experience has been the best of the moment, and I think for all the people, because he's a lovely boy, to everybody.

A bit of me

On this post I'm going to tell you a little bit of my life. As you know, my name is Irene and I live in Empuriabrava.
I'm not interested about telling you everything of my life, only my biggest hobbie and everything I've done for it. This topic is the Horse-ball. The only thing I can say about this that it's a big, not a bit, part of me.
I don't know if you are interested on it, so I'm not going to tell you about what's about. I've been many years selectioned on the Spanish and Catalan selection, and I've travelled a lot for this sport. I've been to Poland, Portugal, France, Belguim and I've been around Spain too.
I'm going to show a video of this sport, and some photos that you're going to be able to see in my blog.

Two different lives

On 9th of February in 1990, two twins, who lived in an orphanage, were adopted by two different famiies. Paul went with Gomez family, they were poor; Robert went with Jones family, the rich one.

Paul lived in Los Angeles, in a middel-class neighborhood. He has a good childhood, good friends and a nice relationship with his parents. The onli thing he missed eas the money.
On the other hand, Robert lived in Beverly Hills and he had every thing you could imagine, but he always arguing with his parents, because they always left him alone in his enormuous palace.

When they were twenty years old, they went out to celebrat their birthday, withoutknowing each other. By chance, they met in a club. One brother was waiting for getting into the club; the other one, got in without waiting. One they both went to the toilette, they found each other. They couldn't belive it!! They has seen each other time sixteen years ago. They were a bit drank, and they decided to change their identities, and for theat, they change their families.

A week later, they met in a park, and both thought taht It was better to have a good relation ship with their parents, and didn't mind if you had money or not.

Suddenly, a fairy appeared to them and asked:
-Hey guys! I've been looking your families change all these days. Now you can decide between a poor life and have a good relationship with your family, or a rich family being being sad everyday of your lives.

Both chose the firts option. Since this day, the've been best friends and their families have changed.

A tragedy in Madrid

A Halloween party was celebrated in Madrid, on the Arena. There were 10000 people and there only was place for 9000, approximately. Someone made fire inside and people started going out from the Arena. As there was a lot of people, some of them died. Two of them were 18 and the other one 25, which two of them died there and the other girl could arrive to the hospital but didn't survived.

My opinion about this is that there was no security, I think most of people didn't buy the tickets for the concert, so they couldn't go inside. I've seen in internet that the securities officers didn't ask for their DNI, so most of them were under-age. The Mayor from Madrid said that she'll ban events like this one, and I think it's not right because they can do it but caring a bit more for the people that's inside.

Here you hace the new on internet:
Two of the victims were 18 years old, while the third was 25, according to Spanish police. Chiese students "forced" to work on iPhone 5 sent back to school

Some Chinese students were pulled out of school, for the same one, to go to work on iPhone 5. Some universities have suspended classes for the next month because there's a lot of people out of studies. They are workind six 12-hour days per week, and they only earn about $224. If they don't finish their work, they must stand to this company.

I think it's totally unfair. Thei're studying, but the same university that they are forces them to go working. And it's not all, if they don't finish they work, a part of earning very little, they have to do extra hours to finish their work. I think it has to be banned this law, poor them, they must be desesperate for their studies.

The impossible

I saw this film two weeks ago and I really liked it. First, I'm going to explain about the plot of this film and later, my feelings.

This film is about a family who travelled to Tailandia and there, when they were having a good time on the pool, suddenly came a tsunami and destroyed everything. The father and the two little sons were together, that we can see this at the middle of the film, and the mother and the other son, the oldest one, were lost and found themselves. They were waiting with another little guy for help, and some people brought them to the hospital because the mother was really ill. Once there, Lucas (the oldest son) went round this place to help some people and when he came back where his mother was, she wasn't there. He got really afraid and started screaming everywhere. A lot of hours later, a nurse brought him to his mother.
On the other hand, the father sent the other guys with some people and he stayed on the hotel to look for his wife nd his son but he didn't find them.
By chance, at the end of the film, they found themselves on the hospital, and they came back home after the operation of their mother.

Watching this film I really felt bad, because I knew what Lucas ws suffering. When he came back to the place were his mother was, and she wasn't, I started crying, because my moher, last year, got very ill and  thought that I wouldn't talk to hr anymore. I really cried for her, not for the film.

Catalonia by an American

This boy you can see in this video, was in the demonstration from the 11th of September in Barcelona. He says that it was incredible; it was totally peaceful, and he really loved it.

In this video he tells us what he felt this day. He didn't know what was happening until he asked one boy and he told him that they wanted to be free, Catalonia wanted and wants to leave from Spain, as he says, like a divorce, but with a million of people.
Later, he says that if all these people that was there really want to be independent from Spain and want to be a new state of Europe, they'll be!

I weren't there because I couldn't go, but if I had been there I promise that I would feel like him, hallucinated because of the situation.
